Bald Eagles are nesting near Higgensport, Ohio.  They have at least one hatchling from at least two eggs.  On 10 April 2005, we observed the female ripping pieces of some object and feeding it to her hatchling.

The first image was taken through a spotting scope owned by Ken Phillips, the next three through binoculars:

Ken Phillips and Tess shared their telescopes and high powered binoculars very generously with visitors.
Here is an excellent page on the Bald Eagles posted by Ken Phillips, including some great shots of the male carrying a large catfish. [Sorry--these two links seem to be defunct as of 31 Aug 2007.]

At the right is a view of the park with Kentucky beyond.
