Here are my lecture notes on the History of Cell Biology.

 Here is an excellent page to explore three dimensional protein structure. Do a search for ribonuclease. When the page comes up, click on the model picture. On the next page that comes up, click on Quick PDB on the lower left side of the screen.
When the figure loads, you can hold down the left button of the mouse and rotate the structure to view alpha helices and beta pleated sheets.
