A major goal of my sabbatical project in Berlin was to "compare and contrast" the teaching approaches and techniques at the Freie Universitat Berlin with those at the University of Cincinnati Clermont College. I attended both lectures and labs in histology and dissection. These pictures were taken during the dissection labs.

This is part of the team teaching the large dissection classes: Mondy Bahransoltani, Hana Hunigen, and Johanna Plendl:



The Department is creating taped segments which will be used to teach the muscles to a large lecture section:


There are two dissection labs, this one is on large animals, horse, cow and sheep:



The other dissection labs are devoted to small animal anatomy, specifically dogs and cats:
