Here is a table summarizing significant features of the history of biology.
Here is a video clip showing retrograde
motion of Mars . You will need Quicktime to view it.
Here is a picture showing the "trails"
of Mars through the stars from 26 Aug 1990 to 6 March 1991
Here are two pages, one showing typical
Ordovician fossils found in SW Ohio, and one showing the
strata of
limestone/shale in the Cincinnati area (courtesy of the Cincinnati
Museum of Natural History).
Here is an excellent page to explore three
dimensional protein structure of
the enzyme ribonuclease. When
the page comes up, (it may take a while to load), you can "grab" the
molecule with the left button of the mouse and rotate the structure in
space. Alpha helices will be very apparent, beta pleated sheets
can be found with some searching.
Here is a powerpoint presentation on the origin
of witch's brew and their broomsticks... (Need to refresh this post...)
Here is a directory of images used
in the discussion of complimentary proteins.
