Black permanent-ink pen, fine-tipped (e.g. Pilot Precise V7 or Uniball Vision Micro).
Graph-lined Composition Notebook, Bound 10 x 7 , 5x5 quadrille.
All notes taken during Lab should be entered directly into this book. 3.5 inch floppy disk.
If we successfully master the prerequisite skills, we will perform the following experiments.
Note that using the new PCR machine will require visits to the lab outside regular lab hours.

A word about the Lab: Lab time will be used for three purposes:
1) as a recitation session to discuss homework problems and lecture material
2) for the administration of quizzes, 1:00 to 1:30 on noted dates
3) to conduct laboratory work illustrating the principles and lab practices of genetics
